Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for a number of years. He is most known for the roles he played in "Law and the Special Victims Unit". In his first years of college Meloni had a keen interest in acting. After that, he attended The University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters are gaining him lots of popularity. He can play two characters, one from the perspective of the police as well as the other. This is the reason that has made him so popular. His first television show, he was a serial murderer. Then, he played the character of an NYPD investigator. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. One of his most striking facial features is said to be his striking blue eyes, which are considered as a signature and helped in portraying tough characters that have charisma.
