According to a few sources on the internet her academic background is science student. She graduated from Ouachita's Baptist University with the degree of BSc with a major in Chemistry. Irvin is a seasoned television show as a public speaker as well as an author and motivational speaker. The popularity of her show grew when she was named the primary program host at QVC, where she was also a Brand Strategist. She worked at QVC about seven years. Irvin left QVC for an unknown reason.
